The Hippie Dictionary... ary... ary... ary...............

 Dear fans,
We are dreadfuly sorry that we haven't posted any new hippie words. Weebly is a complicating website to work with at times, so we have to deal with these situations as quickly and easily as possible. Thank you for the special introduction, and we'd like to say "Welcome!" to our newest "Segment", the Hippie Dictionary. Here, you can see lots of Hippie words, and even see them in DIFFERENT LANGUAGES!!! How cool is that!? So keep on reading daily, because We'll have new words, like, a lot!

Hippie words used "Commonly"

Hippie: hip·pie  noun a person, esp. of the late 1960s, who rejected established institutions and values and sought spontaneity, direct personal relations expressing love, and expanded consciousness, often expressed externally in the wearing of casual, folksy clothing and of beads, headbands, used garments, etc.

Sorry, But we tried "Hippie" in other languages, but it still ended up saying Hippie! Look below for some other ones,     though!

Carrot: car·rot   noun 1. a plant, Daucus carota, of the parsley family, having pinnately decompound leaves and umbels of small white or yellow flowers, in its wild form a widespread, familiar weed, and in cultivation valued for its edible root. 2. the nutritious, orange to yellow root of this plant, eaten raw or cooked.

In Spanish: zanahoria

 In Portuguese: cenoura

Groovy: groov·y    adjective, groov·i·er, groov·i·est. 1. Slang. highly stimulating or attractive; excellent: groovy music; a groovy car. 2. inclined to follow a fixed routine.


In Spanish: maravilloso

In Portuguese: amigo    hmm... has anyone noticed a pattern? For some reason some words are the same in both Portuguese and Spanish; weird...
